But…I forgot to bring it on our next trip down. So I had planned to bring my steamer back (I LOVE this steamer, by the way, it works so well) to test out my theory. The shower produces lots of steam in here. We’ll see…it’s not high on the list right now, obviously!įunnily, one thing that both my husband and I noticed was that the paint on the inside of the two bathroom doors was peeling off so much easier than the rest.Ĭan you guess where I’m going with that? Because I really would love the 2-panel doors in here. That doesn’t mean we won’t come back and replace them at a later date though. So I reconsidered repairing the doors and keeping them. Haha!! It was one thing after another and we have quite a bit to do and replace still. And I just wasn’t up for it with everything else we have going on.īUT as it goes, expenses got the better of us. I shared on my Instagram stories a while back that I had decided to replace the doors instead of trying to remove all of that paint. It looked as if they had been quickly painted over old oil paint without proper prep beforehand. Okay, so you might recall me mentioning our doors at the beach condo were peeling everywhere.
